Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance on electrical engineering and maintenance projects.
- Review electrical processes and recommend improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and efficiency.
- Manage and support small to medium-sized engineering and maintenance projects.
- Contribute to strategic planning and budgeting initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Manage vendor contracts for engineering services and equipment.
- Participate in and lead technical committees, task forces, and project teams.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and methods to improve operational performance.
- Support initiatives focused on cost control, quality improvement, and environmental protection.
What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, with 3+ years of relevant experience involving medium-voltage industrial electrical equipment; OR
- A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with industrial electrical equipment and instrumentation.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
- Familiarity with electronics, PLCs, and control systems.
- Understanding of mechanical and process engineering concepts.
- Experience managing small to medium-sized engineering projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
- Experience in industrial operations, maintenance engineering, or operational improvement.
