Estimator | Commercial Construction | Indianapolis, IN
$80,000 – $130,000 + Benefits
Our client, a well-established and highly respected General Contractor in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking an experienced Estimator to support a strong pipeline of commercial construction projects, including fire stations, mixed-use developments, retail, office buildings, and automotive dealerships.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates, budgets, quantity takeoffs, and bid packages for commercial construction projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify scope requirements and pricing opportunities.
- Manage subcontractor bidding, bid leveling, and supplier proposals.
- Develop conceptual budgets and detailed estimates throughout the preconstruction process.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure accurate project pricing.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor.
- Strong background in commercial construction, including retail, office, mixed-use, or institutional projects.
- Experience with quantity takeoffs, conceptual estimating, subcontractor bidding, and budget development.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, BuildingConnected, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar estimating software.
- Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
