Job Title: Technical Mentor / Coach

Location: Seattle, WA (Preferred) / Remote

Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Mentor / Coach who can guide, mentor, and support learners in developing their technical skills and practical industry knowledge.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on technical experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.

This role involves providing technical guidance, mentoring learners through practical assignments and projects, addressing technical queries, and helping them become industry-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical mentoring, coaching, and guidance to learners across relevant technology domains.
• Explain complex technical concepts in a simple, structured, and practical manner.
• Conduct live mentoring sessions, technical discussions, and doubt-clearing sessions.
• Guide learners through hands-on assignments, projects, and real-world use cases.
• Review learners' technical work and provide constructive feedback.
• Help learners troubleshoot technical issues and overcome challenges.
• Support learners in developing problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.
• Monitor learner progress and provide guidance to improve performance.
• Share industry best practices, practical insights, and current technology trends.
• Collaborate with internal learning teams to ensure effective learner engagement and mentoring outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant hands-on technical industry experience.
• Previous experience in technical mentoring, coaching, training, or knowledge sharing.
• Strong expertise in one or more relevant technical domains.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to learners with different levels of experience.
• Experience guiding learners through practical projects, assignments, and problem-solving activities.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to conduct virtual mentoring sessions and engage learners in a remote environment.

Preferred Technical Background

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas are preferred:

• Software Development and Programming
• Data Analytics and Data Science
• Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, and Machine Learning
• Cloud Computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Cybersecurity
• DevOps and Automation
• Full-Stack Development
• Database Management
• Other relevant emerging technology domains

Experience working with enterprise technology organizations such as Microsoft, IBM, Lenovo, Cisco, AWS, Salesforce, or similar companies would be an added advantage.

Important Note

This role is primarily focused on technical mentoring, learner guidance, hands-on support, and practical skill development.

We are looking for professionals with strong industry experience who can mentor learners, guide them through real-world technical challenges, and help bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industry application.

Candidates whose experience is limited to theoretical instruction or content development, without hands-on technical expertise, may not be the right fit.
