Lateral Link is working with a highly regarded international law firm seeking a Mid-Level Corporate/M&A/Private Equity Associate for its Chicago office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a private equity deal lawyer who wants to take a leading role on transactions within a global corporate platform.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3–6 years of experience representing private equity funds, institutional investors, family offices, alternative asset managers, and their portfolio companies
- Experience with leveraged buyouts, add-on acquisitions, divestitures, growth investments, and joint ventures
- Hands-on drafting and negotiating experience on complex M&A and private equity transactions
- Experience running key aspects of deals from diligence through closing, including leading client communications and negotiation calls
- Middle-market experience (preferred)
