The role

We're hiring a Digital Marketing Manager to lead our marketing retainer practice: the strategy, the execution and the client relationships. You'll own SEO, social media, paid advertising and reporting for a portfolio of 20+ clients, and you'll lead client marketing meetings. This part of the business drives consistent revenue, so the role comes with real ownership and impact.

You'll also help build what's next. This includes launching and running Firefly's new connected TV (CTV/OTT) advertising service and working with leadership to win new business.

What you'll do

SEO

• Receive technical SEO audits and implement fixes
• Refresh and expand on-site content: keyword research, blogs, metadata
• Manage local and off-site presence, including Google Business Profile and Bing Places
• Track and report how clients show up in AI search

Social media

• Build social strategy and monthly content calendars for each client
• Create content and graphics in Canva, and schedule posts in our tools or natively
• Engage with client audiences and respond to messages on their behalf
• Set social budgets and report on ROI

Paid advertising

• Research competitors and industries to find campaign angles that fit each client
• Build and manage campaigns, ad sets and ads on Google/YouTube, Meta and Microsoft Advertising (Bing)
• Design ad creative and A/B test creative and copy
• Launch and own Firefly's CTV/OTT advertising service

Budgets and reporting

• Recommend ad budgets for clients and prospects; manage spend through the month and reconcile it
• Produce monthly reports covering website, SEO, social, ads and AI visibility
• Lead client review meetings and turn the data into clear next steps
• Maintain internal dashboards for agency leadership

Leadership and growth

• Direct contractor support for audits, social and SEO content, and coordinate admin support
• Work with the CEO and VP on business development: prospect research, strategy, proposal budgets
• Run Firefly's own marketing: social, email, case studies and blog
• Handle SEO and analytics setup when new client websites launch

What you bring

• 5+ years in digital marketing across SEO, social and paid media (agency experience strongly preferred)
• A track record of managing several client accounts and ad budgets at the same time
• Confidence in front of clients. You can explain a dip in conversions clearly, without jargon or panic.
• Strong writing, organization and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred

• Experience with B2B businesses; industrial, legal, healthcare
• Hands-on experience with SE Ranking, GA4, Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Microsoft Advertising, Planable, Canva, and WordPress (Yoast) or other similar tools
• CTV/OTT or programmatic advertising experience
• Google Ads and/or Meta certifications

Compensation and benefits

• $57,000 salary, full-time
