About this opportunity
About
Vertical Talent Group represents leading digital creators in food and pets. We build their businesses through brand partnerships, strategic relationships, and long-term career development.
We’re hiring coordinators who want to become agents. You’ll work directly with our team on active partnerships, learn the business of representation, and earn greater responsibility as you develop.
The work
Good agents earn trust, spot opportunities, and follow through. They understand what makes a creator valuable, what a brand needs, and how to bring the two together.
That starts with excellent coordination. You’ll manage details, keep campaigns moving, and communicate clearly with creators and partners. You’ll also research buyers, support outreach, and begin building relationships of your own.
What you’ll do
- Support creator partnerships from initial inquiry through execution and payment.
- Track deadlines, communicate next steps, and resolve issues early.
- Research brands, agencies, and partnership decision-makers.
- Help initiate outreach and arrange introductory calls and meetings.
- Join partner conversations and identify opportunities across our roster.
- Scout food and pet creators and explain their commercial potential.
- Help improve the systems supporting our team.
Who you are
- You want to become an agent. Representing talent and building their businesses is a career you want to pursue.
- You’re commercially curious. You notice brand partnerships and think about why they work, what a creator brings, and where the next opportunity might be.
- You build relationships. You enjoy meeting people, ask good questions, and stay in touch with purpose.
- You take initiative. You’re willing to introduce yourself, make an ask, and follow up when you don’t hear back.
- You execute. You write concise emails, keep track of details, and do what you say you’ll do.
- You know the space. You follow food or pet creators and can explain what makes their content and audience valuable.
- You learn quickly. You seek feedback, apply it, and take increasing ownership.
Experience in representation, brand partnerships, sales, agencies, or client service is helpful, but not required.
Growth
As you demonstrate reliable execution and sound judgment, you’ll take on more responsibility across buyer relationships, negotiations, and talent representation.
Compensation
- $60,000–$75,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Annual bonus.
- Healthcare coverage.
This role works from our Midtown Manhattan office five days a week.
- Why do you want to become a talent agent?
