ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Contract

Henderson, NV

We’re seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design electrical systems and control panels for industrial equipment. This hands-on opportunity offers collaboration across engineering, production, and equipment testing.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bills of materials.
  • Specify components, including VFDs, motors, protective devices, and PLC hardware.
  • Design power distribution, control wiring, and I/O systems.
  • Apply NEC/NFPA 70, UL 508A, and applicable CE/IEC standards.
  • Support panel fabrication, equipment testing, troubleshooting, and design improvements.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Industrial electrical design and control panel experience.
  • Proficiency with electrical CAD software.
  • Knowledge of motor controls, VFDs, PLC hardware, and component sizing.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and technical documentation.
  • A collaborative approach and strong attention to detail.
