Role Description
Pharcomed Corp. is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Temporary Financial Analyst to support its finance and operations teams. This is an initial three-month contract engagement based at the company's office in Plantation, Florida.
The analyst will support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, bookkeeping, and financial reporting across the company's manufacturing, packaging, and distribution operations. Responsibilities also include reconciling accounts, monitoring costs and margins, analyzing key performance indicators, and preparing management reports to support business decisions.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in financial analysis and bookkeeping, is proficient in Excel, and communicates effectively in both English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Perform budget-versus-actual and year-over-year variance analysis.
- Support day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and reconciling accounts.
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, and payment tracking.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and financial summaries.
- Monitor sales, operating expenses, product costs, gross margins, and other key financial indicators.
- Reconcile financial data across accounting systems, bank statements, and internal records, investigating discrepancies as needed.
- Support month-end closing activities and the preparation of financial reports.
- Assist with maintaining accurate accounting documentation and supporting financial controls.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and leadership teams on reporting, analysis, and special projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in financial analysis, bookkeeping, accounting, or a combination of these areas.
- Practical knowledge of bookkeeping principles, account reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and transaction recording.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, written and spoken, is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP or accounting software QUICKBOOKS.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or consumer products is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Plantation, Florida, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
