We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Angular Architect with deep, hands-on expertise in architecting, developing, and modernizing complex enterprise Angular applications.
The ideal candidate must have extensive experience owning Angular application architecture end-to-end, making critical technical decisions, building scalable front-end solutions, and mentoring engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end architecture of complex Angular applications.
- Define application structure, component architecture, routing, and state management.
- Lead Angular migrations, upgrades, and legacy AngularJS modernization.
- Build reusable component libraries and enterprise design systems.
- Optimize application performance, rendering, and bundle sizes.
- Establish front-end coding standards, testing, accessibility, and security practices.
- Integrate REST APIs, GraphQL, and authentication services.
- Mentor developers and lead technical architecture and code reviews.
- Collaborate with backend, cloud, AI, and product engineering teams.
Must-Have Technical Expertise
- Deep hands-on Angular application architecture and development.
- Advanced Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Angular Signals, RxJS, Dependency Injection, and Change Detection.
- NgRx, Nx Monorepo, and Micro-frontends.
- Angular CLI, Build Optimization, and Performance Tuning.
- Shared Component Libraries and Design Systems.
- REST APIs, GraphQL, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and Cognito.
- Jest, Jasmine, Cypress, and Playwright.
- WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 accessibility.
- AWS/Azure and CI/CD deployments.
React and Next.js experience is a plus.
Requirements
- 10–12+ years of overall software engineering experience.
- Strong majority of experience in front-end engineering.
- Proven ownership of enterprise Angular applications from architecture through production.
- Experience with Angular migration and modernization.
- Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills.
- Must be physically located in the USA and authorized to work in the USA.
