React/Node Engineering Manager

ENGINEERING MANAGER - TYSONS CORNER, VA (HYBRID) - $200,000-$250,000 + EQUITY

Who you are:

• 8+ years of experience with full-stack development using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience leading or managing engineering teams while remaining hands-on with software development.
• Strong background building and operating production data pipelines, including asynchronous processing, retries, idempotency, and data backfills.
• Comfortable working in startup environments, navigating ambiguity, and owning technical problems end-to-end.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 engineers while remaining hands-on.
• Drive architecture decisions, code quality, technical design reviews, and engineering best practices across the team.
• Partner closely with product and business stakeholders to deliver scalable platform capabilities and shape the future technical roadmap.

What does this position pay?

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.

The expected range for this role is $200,000-$250,000 per year + equity. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
