Role -Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Denver, CO-Onsite
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in Embedded C/C++, Linux Kernel, Device Drivers, BSP, U-Boot, and Yocto/OpenEmbedded development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, debugging, and optimizing software for broadband and gateway platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain embedded software using C/C++ on Linux-based platforms.
Develop and debug Linux Kernel components, Device Drivers, BSPs, and U-Boot bootloaders.
Build and customize embedded Linux distributions using Yocto, OpenEmbedded, and BitBake.
Troubleshoot system-level issues using debugging and performance analysis tools.
Support broadband gateway platforms and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
Participate in software validation, testing, and release activities.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Embedded C/C++, Linux Kernel, Device Drivers, BSP, U-Boot, Yocto/OpenEmbedded, and BitBake.
Experience with system debugging, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of DOCSIS, Fiber Gateways, and Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 technologies.
Familiarity with TR-069, TR-369, ACS, Telemetry, and network analysis tools such as Wireshark.
Experience with JIRA, Boardfarm, and embedded software development lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in broadband, telecom, or connected device environments.
Exposure to gateway certification, network protocols, and automation frameworks.
