An AI platform that takes over the manual grind of accounting are looking for a BDR to join a established sales team.

A BDR seat with a defined, near-term path to Account Executive, joining a six-person go-to-market team that will double twice over the next year, where promotion is built into the hiring plan rather than held out as a possibility.

Backed by a top-tier Silicon Valley fund and a prominent AI founder, with a significant round about to close. Around 25 people, on-site together in Manhattan.

👔Responsibilities:

• Owning one vertical of $100M–$1B companies and becoming the person on the team who knows it best
• On the phone to CFOs, Controllers and VPs of Finance, with email and LinkedIn layered in
• Booking and holding 12–15 qualified meetings a month at full ramp, each handed over with a real brief
• Researching ERP, close process, PE backing and hiring signals before you dial
• Partnering with your AE on account plans and multi-threading into the finance org
• Writing and testing the talk tracks the next ten BDRs will inherit

👤Candidate profile:

• 2+ years at a Big Four accounting firm with a CPA background, or 6 months–2 years as an outbound BDR/SDR at a fintech selling into the office of the CFO
• Prospecting into finance buyers at a fintech, ERP, billing, close or spend-management company — or a CPA, accounting, audit or FP&A background
• Articulate and well-spoken with genuine executive presence; you have thirty seconds to sound worth listening to
• Comfortable being on the phone four hours a day, every day
• Reporting into a Head of Sales Development who built an SDR org from 3 to 30 at a major HR tech company
