Technical Business Analyst – Data Warehouse
📍 Location: Parsippany, New Jersey

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with Data Warehouse experience to work closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and project leadership to gather requirements, analyze data workflows, document technical specifications, and support successful delivery of data warehouse initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
▪️ Gather and document business and technical requirements.
▪️ Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
▪️ Analyze data flows, source-to-target mappings, and data transformations.
▪️ Collaborate with business stakeholders and data engineering teams.
▪️ Support data validation, reconciliation, UAT, and defect resolution.
▪️ Track requirements, dependencies, risks, and project deliverables.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably supporting Data Warehouse, Data Engineering, or enterprise data integration projects.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Understanding of data warehouse concepts, data modeling, data flows, and source-to-target data mapping.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, data migration, data integration, and data quality concepts.
- Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
- Experience supporting UAT, test planning, data validation, and defect resolution.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
