General Counsel

We're looking for a General Counsel who thinks beyond legal advice and understands what it takes to build, protect, and scale a business.

At DAP Brands, we're expanding across financial services, tax advisory, professional services, and SaaS technology. As our portfolio grows, we're looking for a seasoned legal executive to help us navigate complexity, strengthen our legal infrastructure, and support our next stage of growth.

This is not simply a contract-review or compliance position.

We're looking for a strategic business partner who can work directly with our CEO and executive leadership team, anticipate legal risks, identify practical solutions, and help turn business opportunities into well-structured, sustainable operations.

What You'll Lead

• Corporate & Commercial Law: Complex agreements, contracts, negotiations, and strategic partnerships.
• Corporate Governance: Entity structures, multi-company operations, ownership agreements, and legal governance.
• Financial Services & Regulatory Compliance: SEC, FINRA, RIA, broker-dealer, and related regulatory matters.
• Strategic Business Advisory: Direct counsel to executive leadership on growth initiatives, business decisions, and enterprise risk.
• M&A & Corporate Transactions: Acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, due diligence, and restructuring.
• Legal Infrastructure: Building scalable legal processes, risk management systems, and corporate compliance practices.

Who We're Looking For

An experienced attorney with strong corporate and commercial legal expertise, excellent business judgment, and the ability to operate confidently in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.

Experience in SaaS, financial services, regulated industries, or multi-entity organizations is especially valuable.

Prior experience as General Counsel or in another senior in-house legal leadership role is highly preferred.
