We are partnering with a large-scale architectural design firm in New York City.
They are looking for a talented Senior Interior Designer with experience in leading commercial workplace projects. You will bring a strategic mindset, great customer service, and communication skills. Proactive and documentation expertise.
Responsebilities
- Client-facing throughout the design phase
- Review all design work of the team
- Ensure all design work is being delivered on time and presented to the client
- Develop programs, space standards and test fits, schematics and basic code analysis
- Develop 3D models with Revit to show the design concept including lighting and FF&E
- Prepare bid documents
- Coordinate design development package
- Review engineering documents to ensure they align with the design intent
- Review shop drawings
- On-site visits
Requirements
- Having experience of successfully delivering workplace interiors.
- Ability to create photorealistic renders
- Great working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Suite
- Understanding of all the construction stages
- Detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to juggle between multiple projects and ensure successful deliveries
