Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 annually

JPO Concepts is seeking a hands-on Multi-Unit Café General Manager to oversee café, bar, and food service operations across select NYC hotel properties. This role combines daily operational leadership, team development, financial oversight, and strong relationships with hotel partners.

This is an opportunity for an experienced café, restaurant, or hotel food and beverage manager ready to take on multiple locations.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily operations through regular site visits, maintaining consistent service, cleanliness, product quality, and guest experience.
• Hire, train, and coach employees; manage schedules in 7shifts; arrange shift coverage; and address attendance and performance concerns in partnership with HR.
• Manage budgets, labor costs, purchasing, and inventory, using sales and operating reports to improve location performance.
• Oversee cash handling, POS reconciliation, and accurate submission of employee hours and tips to payroll.
• Manage vendor relationships, deliveries, pricing, service agreements, and equipment maintenance.
• Keep every location prepared for NYC Department of Health inspections, maintain required records, and ensure staff complete applicable food safety and alcohol service certifications.
• Serve as a responsive point of contact for hotel management, ownership, and corporate teams.
• Coordinate menu updates, operational materials, special events, and support for new openings and transitions.

What We’re Looking For

• General management experience in cafés, restaurants, or hotel food and beverage operations. Multi-unit experience is a plus.
• Strong people management skills, including hiring, training, scheduling, and accountability.
• Experience managing budgets, labor, inventory, vendors, and operational reporting.
• Working knowledge of NYC DOH requirements and a proactive approach to food safety and inspection readiness.
• Clear communication, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize competing needs across locations.
• Availability to travel between NYC properties and work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require.
• NYC Food Protection Certificate, or willingness to obtain it promptly. Experience with 7shifts and hospitality POS systems preferred.
