Corporate Attorney | Manhattan, NY (Remote) – $300K
Location/Schedule: Manhattan, NY (Remote)
Base Salary: $300K
Practice: Corporate transactions. Entity work, commercial contracts, and deals for businesses, financial institutions, and real estate developers. Litigation, real estate, and government relations are in the same firm if the deal needs them.
Our client is a mid-size New York firm founded in 1970's, with more than 80 attorneys. Corporate work sits next to commercial litigation, real estate, trusts and estates, and government relations. Offices are in Manhattan, Albany, Washington, White Plains, and Palm Beach. Clients include Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, developers, and entrepreneurs. The average billing rate is about $800.

What You’ll Actually Do:
- Draft and negotiate operating agreements, purchase agreements, and commercial contracts.
- Handle entity formations, joint ventures, and ownership changes.
- Support real estate and financing deals for developer and institutional clients.
- Run the transaction from the first draft through closing.
Requirements:
- JD and active New York bar
- 5–9 years post-bar corporate or business transactions — current Associate, Counsel, or Partner
- Drafting experience on purchase agreements, operating agreements, or commercial contracts
