Rate: $20-$21 per hour

This role is contracted for the Minecraft Experience tour from November 2026 - May 2027.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join the team at the Minecraft Experience Trading Post (Gift Shop). If you’re friendly, energetic, organized, and love creating a great experience for people, we’d love to meet you!

You’ll help create a fun, welcoming, and memorable experience for guests as they browse, shop, and find the perfect Minecraft items to take home. The Trading Post is the final stop in the guest journey, so this role is about much more than ringing up merchandise!

The right person understands that the guest experience comes first. You should be comfortable striking up a conversation, helping a guest find products they’ll love, and making them feel welcome. We want someone who can naturally connect with guests of all ages and let great service drive the sale.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide an engaging, positive shopping experience 

• Assist guests with product questions, recommendations, and purchases 

• Create an inviting and exciting merchandise environment that reflects the Minecraft experience 

• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked merchandise displays 

• Operate the Square POS system accurately and efficiently 

• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, replenishing, and organizing merchandise 

• Monitor merchandise levels and communicate inventory needs to management  

• Work as part of a team to ensure a smooth guest experience, particularly during busy periods  

• Help resolve questions or concerns in a professional and positive manner 

• Perform other retail and guest-service duties as needed 

Qualifications

• Previous retail and/or customer service experience or similar experience required 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Energetic, approachable, and comfortable engaging with guests of all ages, including children, families, and adults 

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 

• Comfortable learning and using Square POS 

• Experience with inventory management and merchandise presentation a plus 

• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment 

• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player 

• Able to stand for extended periods and lift and move merchandise weighing up to 40 lbs.
