Commercial Real Estate Attorney | $200K Base + Bonus | Partnership Track | Maryland (Remote)

I am currently working with a highly respected Maryland law firm who are looking to add a Senior Commercial Real Estate Attorney to their established and growing transactional practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced real estate attorney looking for sophisticated deal work, strong partner access, flexibility, and a genuine opportunity to build a book of business and progress toward partnership.

• Sophisticated Transactional Practice: Work alongside experienced attorneys across real estate, lending, business, trusts & estates, and transactional law, giving you access to a broad and sophisticated client base.
• Remote Flexibility: The role is fully remote-capable, with a dedicated home-office setup encouraged and office space available when occasional in-person collaboration is needed.
• Clear Path to Partnership: The firm is looking for someone who can develop their own client relationships, with an expectation of originating work within approximately two years and an existing book of business helping to accelerate the partner track.
• Manageable Billable Target: A 1,600-hour annual billable expectation provides a more sustainable structure than many comparable transactional environments.

The Role

• Lead Complex Real Estate Transactions: Handle sophisticated commercial real estate matters from inception through closing, representing lenders, borrowers, developers, sponsors, and other key stakeholders.
• Draft & Negotiate Key Agreements: Take ownership of purchase and sale agreements, loan documentation, development agreements, joint venture agreements, leases, and related transactional documents.
• Drive Due Diligence & Closings: Lead title and survey review, entity documentation, due diligence processes, closing checklists, and transaction coordination.
• Advise Clients Directly: Work closely with clients and senior attorneys to provide commercially focused advice, manage transaction timelines, and navigate complex real estate issues.
• Build a Practice: Play an active role in business development and client relationship building, with the opportunity to develop a meaningful book and progress toward partnership.
