About this opportunity

About Us

Fort Lauderdale United FC is South Florida’s home for professional soccer. Our women’s team

competes in the USL Gainbridge Super League, and our men’s team launches in USL League One in March 2027. Both teams play at Amerant Bank Field on the Nova Southeastern University campus. We’re also connected to a youth sports platform that serves more than 13,000 local families, which gives us a built-in community that few clubs have. We’re building something from the ground up, and we want a ticketing leader who wants to build it with us.

The Role

The Director of Ticketing owns the entire ticketing operation for both the men’s and women’s teams. That covers strategy, revenue, systems, sales, and the fan experience from first purchase through renewal. This is a hands-on leadership role at a growing club. You’ll set up what doesn’t exist yet and scale what works. Your first big milestone is the men’s inaugural season, where we’re targeting an average attendance of 3,000.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and run the ticketing strategy across both teams, including season tickets, memberships, mini-plans, groups, single-game sales, and premium seating.
  • Own ticket revenue targets and forecasting, and report results to club leadership.
  • Lead the inaugural season-ticket and founding member campaign for the 2027 men’s season.
  • Grow women’s team attendance and renewals in parallel, and create cross-team packages that reward fans of both teams.
  • Turn our youth sports families into ticket buyers through club nights, team packages, and community partnerships.
  • Build and manage group sales pipelines with schools, youth clubs, corporations, nonprofits, and NSU groups.
  • Select, set up, and manage the ticketing platform and CRM, and make sure ticketing data flows cleanly into marketing and reporting tools.
  • Set pricing, seating maps, and inventory strategy, including dynamic pricing where it makes sense.
  • Work with marketing on campaigns, promotions, and theme nights, and with sponsorship on hospitality and partner ticket inventory.
  • Oversee box office and gameday ticketing operations, including entry, scanning, will-call, and service issues.
  • Hire, train, and lead a ticket sales and service team as the club grows.
  • Create a service and retention program that keeps season-ticket members coming back.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in sports or live-event ticketing, with at least 2 years managing people or a revenue line.
  • A proven record of hitting season-ticket, group, and revenue goals.
  • Hands-on experience with major ticketing platforms such as Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, Tixr, or similar, plus CRM systems.
  • Strong skills with data, pricing, and reporting.
  • An entrepreneurial, build-from-scratch mindset and comfort in a startup environment.
  • Availability on nights, weekends, and gamedays.
  • Bonus: experience in soccer or minor league sports, launching a new team, or the South Florida market. Spanish fluency is a plus.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based

commission or bonus.

  • The chance to build the ticketing operation for two professional teams from the beginning.
  • A seat at the table at a fast-growing club with deep community roots.
  • [Benefits: health, PTO, etc.]
