Fit Recruiting is partnering with a well-established church in Mobile, Alabama, to find a passionate, energetic, and relationship-driven Director of Christian Formation.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, students, and families and wants to make a meaningful impact by developing engaging programs, building relationships, and strengthening a vibrant church community.

The Director of Christian Formation will provide leadership and direction for faith formation programs across all ages, with a primary focus on growing children's and student ministries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and strengthen children's and student ministry programs.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, students, parents, and church members.
• Plan and coordinate Sunday School, student activities, retreats, service opportunities, and special events.
• Recruit, mentor, and support volunteers and ministry leaders.
• Develop creative and engaging opportunities for spiritual growth and learning.
• Collaborate with church leadership to expand programs and encourage participation across all generations.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in children's ministry, student ministry, Christian education, or related leadership roles.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Genuine passion for working with children, students, and families.
• Ability to recruit, motivate, and lead volunteers.
• Creative, energetic, and comfortable taking initiative to grow programs.
• Commitment to Christian education and Reformed theology.

Compensation & Benefits:
