Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage complex technology projects from initiation through delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and experience coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of technical projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, software development, infrastructure, QA, security, and business teams.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and change requests.
- Facilitate project status meetings and communicate progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and executive dashboards.
- Coordinate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog reviews, and retrospectives where applicable.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment between technical teams and business objectives.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to minimize delays and delivery issues.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, technical requirements, and business expectations.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party dependencies when required.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of overall IT experience, including 3+ years in technical project management or a similar leadership role.
- Proven experience managing complex IT projects involving software development, infrastructure, cloud, application modernization, or enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or other relevant project management certification.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of APIs, system integrations, databases, and enterprise application architectures.
- Experience with budget management, resource planning, vendor management, and executive reporting.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and risk management frameworks.
