Senior Legal Counsel

Job Description: Senior Legal Counsel - High Tech IT Consulting and Outsourcing Transactions.

Location- Remote USA

We are currently seeking an experienced legal counsel well versed in Technology and Outsourcing Services transactions to join our team in NYC, Cary, N.C. or other regional office.

Annual Salary Range: $170-180K.

Responsibilities include:

● Being the legal point of contact on assigned projects supporting sales and revenue generation agreements, including procurement agreements, as required.

● Communicating effectively about contractual and business matters, providing good risk/benefit analysis and guidance to HCL’s internal stakeholders including Sales, Finance, HR and Delivery.

● Reviewing, drafting and negotiating complex IT Services and Outsourcing Agreements with HCL’s customers per HCL guidelines including Master Outsourcing Agreements, Professional Services Agreements, Bids and RFPs, SaaS agreements and Statements of Work.

● Experience with Governmental Contracting (Locals, State, Federal) a plus; and

● Performing other contract review and general corporate functions as required.

Desired Skills & Experience

● Applicant must be a qualified Attorney currently licensed to practice law in a US or Foreign jurisdiction.

● 8 to 18 years of relevant work experience in structuring, negotiating, and drafting Outsourcing, IT and services contracts.

● A genuine enthusiasm for providing legal support to sales teams in the high tech and outsourcing industry. Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated and have excellent organizational, communication, prioritization and problem-solving abilities.

● The position will involve occasional travel within the continental U.S.
