Compensation: $50k – $65k Base | $70k – $100k+ On-Target Earnings (Base + Commission)

The Role

We are seeking a sophisticated, high-energy sales and operations professional who understands that luxury jewelry is not a necessity, but a profound desire. Mystique operates as a collaborative, "everyone works together" boutique environment. The ideal candidate is just as comfortable consulting on a custom diamond design as they are meticulously organizing a showroom case, maintaining store opening protocols, or managing client workflows.

The "Follow-Through" Mentality: You seamlessly manage relationships from the first hello to the final pick-up. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and ensure no repair, appraisal, or custom order slips through the cracks.

Master of Atmosphere: You understand the "theater" of fine jewelry from precise opening/closing security protocols to ensuring cases are perfectly curated, immaculate, and spotless.

Versatile Communicator: You have impeccable manners and the ability to educate a curious buyer, guide a browser into a lifelong client, and consult on repurposing sentimental family heirlooms.

Tech-Savvy & Adaptable: Proficiency with The Edge software is a significant advantage. You are comfortable with modern POS systems, digital clienteling, and text/email communication in a fast-paced multitasking environment.

Key Qualifications & Responsibilities

Consultative Sales: Proven ability to identify client needs, recommend exceptional products, and close sales in a warm, low-pressure, luxury manner.

Unmatched Service: Exceptional communication and active listening skills with a professional, welcoming demeanor.

Product Knowledge: A strong background in (or an eager passion to learn about) fine jewelry, gemstones, precious metals, designer lines, and care recommendations.

Boutique Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a tight-knit retail team, including Saturdays and flexible seasonal hours as needed.

Operational Reliability: Extreme attention to detail, reliability in handling high-ticket transactions, and strict adherence to jewelry store security measures.

Experience: Prior experience in luxury retail, high-end hospitality, fine jewelry sales, or a related upscale customer-facing role is preferred.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in jewelry, gemology (GIA), or luxury retail management is a major plus.
