Director, Business Intelligence & Planning

About the opportunity

JCW has partnered with a leading international banking as they search for a Director of Business Intelligence & Planning. This is a high-visibility, strategic role at the center of the region's business. You'll partner directly with senior management to drive business through client, product, and other strategic initiatives in the U.S. This is an opportunity to shape strategy at the regional level, with real exposure to senior leadership and a direct line into group headquarters. The opportunity would be a contract to perm role.

Locations: Washington D.C, (preferred) or New York City

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy development and implementation for the Americas across coverage, product, funding, and operations.
• Manage cross-functional strategic initiatives and keep them aligned with Group objectives.
• Build the annual budget and balanced scorecard, and cascade performance targets across departments.
• Produce customer and transactional analytics that inform decisions for business and product leaders.
• Act as the main point of contact for corporate governance, coordinating with Group to keep regional structures and reporting aligned.
• Support senior leadership with executive communications, including reports, memos, and presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in a similar strategy, planning, or business management capacity.
• Extensive budgeting, forecasting, and business planning experience, including regular work with senior management.
• Solid experience/ knowledge of the banking sector.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and leadership skills.
