About the Role
The Senior Project Manager will lead commercial interiors projects from preconstruction through closeout, managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships on tenant fit-out and interior renovation work throughout the DMV.
What You'll Do
- Manage all phases of interiors project execution, from preconstruction and buyout through construction and closeout
- Own project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve design and constructability issues specific to occupied and tenant-fit-out environments
- Lead project meetings, progress reporting, and client communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contract documentation
- Oversee site logistics, phasing, and safety compliance in coordination with field superintendents
- Mentor project engineers/APMs and support project staffing
What You Bring
- Significant experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor, with a strong focus on commercial interiors/tenant fit-out work
- Proven track record managing interior renovation or fit-out projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Solid understanding of contract documents, means and methods, and project financials
- Comfortable managing work in occupied buildings and coordinating complex phasing/logistics
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage owner and subcontractor relationships
- Proficiency with standard project management and scheduling software
