Construction: Project Accountant
Ascendo Resources (Award Winning Staffing, Recruiting & Consulting Firm) is assisting our client in their search for a Construction Project Accounting Manager. Construction industry or subcontractor accounting experience is required. This subcontractor construction company has been in business for 40 years. Outstanding reputation. $70m in annual revenues with continuous growth.
Position Title: Construction Project Accounting Manager
Location: Doral Area
Salary: $100K-$110K
Additional Info & Technical Skill Set Required:
- Construction industry accounting experience
- Monthly General Ledger, Multiple Entity Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations, AP/AR
- Month End Close, quarter end close, year-end close
- Analyze Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules, job cost reporting, and project profitability analysis.
- AIA billing
- % of completion
- Job Costing
- Labor Costs
- Biling & Lien Waivers
- QuickBooks / Advanced Excel
- 150 employees
- 6 employees in the Accounting department, including 2 purchasing staff
- $60m to $80m annual revenues
- Medical and Dental offered.
Job Requirements:
To qualify, candidates must have:
- Minimum of 5 years Accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree, with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
- Advanced Excel
