About the Company
Ace Trim Carpentry Inc. is the region's most trusted interior trim company, serving residential production new home builders with turnkey supply and installation trim carpentry services. We are currently seeking a high-energy, organized Production Manager to join our team.
The Role
The Production Manager is in the field daily and serves as the vital link between our builder partners, our sub-contractor crews, our suppliers, and our home office. You will be responsible for multiple job sites ensuring that every unit is ready for trim, every crew is scheduled efficiently, and every finished product meets the "Ace Trim" standard of excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Field Supervision: Schedule and supervise sub-contractor crews across multiple residential job sites in Northern VA, MD, and WV.
- Builder Liaison: Coordinate daily with Builder Superintendents and Suppliers to ensure project timelines are met.
- Quality Control: Conduct rigorous site inspections and unit "walks" to ensure correct material ordering and site readiness.
- Hands-on Service: Perform minor service work and punch-list items with your own tools as needed to ensure project completion.
- Documentation: Use company-issued technology to track progress, mark up plans, and communicate with the office.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3+ years of production new home building and interior trim carpentry experience is required.
- Tools: Must possess and be proficient with standard carpentry hand and power tools.
- Technology: * Familiarity with SupplyPro (Hyphen Solutions) is a major plus.
- Comfort using a company-issued iPad for daily tasks.
- Experience with Office 365 (Outlook, shared files, and PDF markups) is preferred.
- Communication: Professional verbal and written skills for interfacing with builders and management.
- Requirements: Must have a clean driving record for company vehicle insurance.
