Global Leadership | ERP Transformation | Executive-Level Opportunity

A leading global organisation is seeking an experienced Director of Enterprise Systems to lead its global enterprise applications strategy, with a strong focus on D365 and Navision.

You will have full oversight of ERP and shared systems across manufacturing, production, distribution and other business functions, excluding Commercial.

Reporting directly to the CIO, this is a senior strategic leadership position responsible for modernising the enterprise technology landscape, driving digital transformation and ensuring systems support business growth, operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee a global portfolio of enterprise applications supporting finance, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, supply chain and distribution, while leading international teams and partnering with senior business stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global enterprise systems strategy, roadmap and investment priorities.
• Lead large-scale global ERP transformation, implementation, modernisation and optimisation programmes.
• Oversee the performance, reliability, security and compliance of enterprise applications.
• Drive process harmonisation, standardisation, automation and continuous improvement.
• Manage technology budgets, strategic vendors, system integrators and managed service providers.
• Partner with executive leadership to align technology investments with business objectives.
• Build and develop high-performing global teams across applications, architecture and support.
• Ensure systems meet governance, risk, audit and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise applications and business technology leadership, with strong D365 ERP expertise.
• 8+ years of leadership experience managing global technology teams and strategic partners.
• Proven experience delivering complex, global ERP transformation and modernisation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, systems integration, cloud technologies and application lifecycle management.
• Experience managing significant technology budgets and strategic vendor relationships.
• Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management and strategic planning skills.
• Experience in life sciences, medical technology, manufacturing or another regulated industry is preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.

Location & Travel

Location: On-site in Trumbull

Approximately 30–40% business travel (in the US) depending on project and business requirements.
