Accounts Payable Representative
Location: Somerset, NJ (On-site)
Pay: 24.10/hr on W2
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 40 hrs/week, flexible start 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Duration – 06 months (Potential to Extend)
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Representative to join a busy finance team in Somerset, NJ. This is a fully on-site position to start (team is hybrid). Training moves fast — we need someone experienced and ready to hit the ground running.
What You'll Do
Review invoices and charge expenses to the correct accounts and cost centers.
Process vendor invoices against POs and receipts.
Resolve invoice, PO, and payment discrepancies.
Reconcile vendor statements and support customer billing.
Perform high-volume, accurate data entry and maintain AP records.
Identify opportunities to improve AP processes.
What You Need
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
4+ years of accounts payable experience.
ERP experience — PeopleSoft or comparable platform.
High-volume data entry in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and vendor communication skills.
Quick learner with limited ramp-up time.
Interviews via Microsoft Teams.
