Salary: $60,000 – $75,000, based on experience

Rustic & Main makes handcrafted, story-driven wedding and engagement rings in Huntersville, NC. The work is product, people, and craft — not content for content’s sake.

We are hiring someone to own Pinterest first, and our other social channels with it. Pinterest is where we actually work the platform: search, boards, pins, product discovery, and traffic that can turn into customers. Instagram and Facebook matter, but they mainly carry the same brand and product story.

This is not a remote-first job and it is not an entry-level job. You will be in the building Monday through Thursday. The marketing team works Fridays from home. If you need most of the week at home, this is not the right seat.

What you’ll do

• Own day-to-day Pinterest: boards, pin strategy, titles and descriptions, keyword/search work, catalog/product pins, and a consistent publishing cadence that helps people find and buy our rings.
• Plan and publish Instagram and Facebook content that showcases the product, the makers, and the stories behind the rings. Entertainment is occasional. Selling the brand and the work is the point.
• Build and run a simple content calendar with the existing content and marketing team (photography, video, product styling). You are not a one-person studio, and you are not just a scheduler.
• Write in the brand’s voice: clear, grounded, story-first. No corporate filler. No trend-chasing that doesn’t fit who we are.
• Engage with comments, messages, and community in a way that feels human and points people toward the product when it makes sense.
• Track what actually matters: reach is fine; traffic, saves, product clicks, and contribution to sales matter more. Report simply and regularly.
• Shoot and create when you’re the right person to do it — workshop, product, team — and pull from work the team already produces.
• Stay current on Pinterest and Instagram as tools for a product brand, not as a feed of whatever is popular this week.

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years running social media for a real brand, preferably product / e-commerce / artisan / jewelry / wedding / home goods — not only personal accounts or entertainment pages.
• Proven Pinterest work. You should be able to show boards, pins, and what they did (traffic, saves, search visibility, or sales). “I also post to Pinterest” is not enough.
• Strong Instagram and Facebook experience, including Stories/Reels when they serve the product — not as the whole job.
• A writer who can make a ring, a material, or a person on the team interesting without sounding like an ad agency.
• Comfortable on-site, around product and people. You will be here with the team most days.
• Organized enough to run a calendar, hit a cadence, and not need to be chased.
• Discernment. You can tell the difference between a trend that fits this brand and a trend that would make us look like everybody else.

What this is not

• Not a “grow followers at all costs” role.
• Not a TikTok-first or trend-first role.
• Not a corporate brand job with layers of approval and brand decks.
• Not a mostly-remote job with the option to come in sometimes.
