At some point in your career, you probably start wondering where all the hard work is actually taking you.

This established CPA firm in Hollywood is offering something a little different.

One of the Partners is planning to retire within the next 4 years, and rather than waiting until the last minute, they're looking for a Tax Manager who wants to grow with the firm and eventually step into their shoes.

And no, you don't need to bring your own book of business.

The firm already has an established client base, a successful practice and a close knit team.

You'll have the opportunity to work directly with the Partners, build relationships with clients and gradually take on more responsibility as you develop.

It's a smaller firm where people know each other, decisions don't take forever and you'll have the freedom to do your job without someone constantly checking up on you.

What they're looking for:

• You'll already have solid experience in Public Accounting, preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, managing client relationships and supporting junior staff.
• CPA or EA preferred
• Individual, corporate, partnership and trust returns, including 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065 and 1041
• Trust and estate taxation, along with real estate clients
• M&A tax matters, including purchase price allocations, Form 8594 and S Corporation transactions
• Knowledge of Section 1202, QSBS and international tax matters, including GILTI

You don't necessarily need to be an expert in every area, but you should enjoy technically interesting work, being hands on, and want to keep developing.
