Open to experienced Tax Supervisors ready to step up

Working for a larger CPA firm has its advantages. Better resources, more opportunities to progress and access to some pretty interesting clients. But sometimes, the bigger the firm, the harder it's to feel like you're making much of an impact.

This national CPA firm offers a nice middle ground.

Their Hollywood office has around 20 people, so while you'll have the backing, resources and career opportunities of a much larger organisation, you'll be working within a smaller team where you can build relationships and have a real say in things.

And you don't necessarily need to be a Tax Manager already.

If you're a strong Tax Supervisor who's ready for more responsibility, they'd be happy to consider you too.

The work is varied, with a focus on HNW individuals, families, professional services clients and business owners. You'll manage client relationships, review complex returns, support junior staff and work closely with senior leadership on tax planning and advisory matters.

It's a good opportunity if you enjoy the technical side of tax but also want to develop your management skills and have more involvement with clients.

What they're looking for:

• 4+ years of progressive Public Accounting tax experience
• Active CPA licence or EA certification required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, with an MST, JD or LLM in Taxation a plus
• Strong experience reviewing 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120S and ideally 709 returns
• Experience with HNW individuals, Partnerships, S Corporations, Trusts and Estates
• Confidence managing client relationships, reviewing work and mentoring junior staff
• Experience with multistate taxation and complex client structures preferred
• You'll need to be comfortable working from the Hollywood office three days a week, with the remaining two days offering hybrid flexibility.
