Regional Director – Electrical Construction - Commercial & Industrial Nashville, TN

Gryphon Oakwood is partnering with an established electrical contractor to identify an experienced Regional Director to lead its operations across the Nashville market.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an electrical construction professional with a strong background in operations, project delivery, financial management, and team leadership. The successful individual will take ownership of regional performance while developing teams, strengthening client relationships, and supporting continued growth.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership across regional electrical construction operations and multiple project teams
• Hold responsibility for financial performance, including revenue, costs, forecasting, margins, billing, profitability, and overall operational performance
• Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers and operational teams, establishing clear responsibilities and supporting career development
• Oversee multiple electrical construction projects, ensuring successful delivery across safety, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations
• Provide oversight across estimating and change management, including scope reviews, change orders, subcontractor/vendor pricing, and commercial negotiations
• Drive effective project planning and scheduling, working closely with project teams to ensure manpower, sequencing, and project milestones remain aligned
• Support and oversee preconstruction, VDC, prefabrication, and field technology strategies to improve project execution
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and key industry partners
• Drive adherence to operational processes, project controls, reporting standards, and company procedures while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

Requirements:

• 5+ years of electrical construction field experience
• 5+ years of management experience leading electrical construction project teams
• Proven track record delivering multiple large-scale electrical projects safely, on schedule, and within budget
• Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, cost control, margins, and profitability
• Experience across electrical estimating, change orders, scheduling, and budget management
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to develop and mentor project management teams
• Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to travel throughout the region as required

Preferred Experience:

• 10+ years leading project management or operational teams within electrical construction
• Experience within Mission Critical, Data Center, or critical electrical infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of preconstruction, VDC, prefabrication, and field technology
• Experience with scheduling platforms such as P6 and Microsoft Project
• Strong electrical estimating and project management software experience
• Experience operating within a structured, process-driven electrical contracting environment
