Leveraged Finance Analyst

💰 $250K–$275K base salary + potential bonus/incentives

📍 New York City | Hybrid (2–3 days/week)

⏰ Fixed hours — no late nights or weekends

⚖️ 6+ years of BigLaw leveraged finance experience

📝 Exceptional writing, analytical and issue-spotting skills

📊 Deep understanding of covenants and financial definitions

🎤 Comfortable explaining complex concepts to sophisticated audiences

💡 Distressed/special situations experience and familiarity with AI research tools are a plus

Our client is seeking a seasoned leveraged finance attorney (6+ years BigLaw) to take their expertise beyond traditional legal practice and become a subject-matter expert in leveraged finance research and market intelligence.

The role includes:

• Producing research on high-yield, investment-grade and leveraged-finance transactions

Analyzing complex credit agreements, indentures and covenant structures

• Covering special situations, distressed situations and emerging market trends

• Participating in subscriber calls, webinars and thought-leadership presentations

• Engaging with hedge funds, CLOs, law firms and sell-side financial institutions

• Building a reputation as a leading leveraged-finance subject-matter expert
