Have construction experience and want to keep building your carpentry skills? Join Nordic Home Solutions and work alongside experienced lead carpenters and installers on residential remodeling projects. Bring dependable work habits, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with framing, exterior work, interior finish carpentry, and material preparation and installation.
• Measure and cut materials accurately; assist with blocking, backing, sealants, and preparation for upcoming trades.
• Follow plans, layouts, specifications, and direction from field leadership.
• Work safely, care for tools, and keep the job site clean and organized while protecting the homeowner’s property.

What You’ll Bring

• At least 3 years of construction experience; residential construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure, perform basic construction math, and recognize common building materials and framing layout marks.
• Safe operation of saws, drills, nail guns, and other common carpentry tools.
• Ability to read basic plans or willingness to learn; clear communication, teamwork, and a positive response to feedback.

Benefits

Paid sick leave; accrued vacation beginning after 90 days, up to 80 hours annually for full-time employees; and five paid holidays for eligible full-time employees. Work Environment

Active residential job sites, indoors and outdoors in varying conditions. Work involves physical labor and construction tools. This role is for someone with existing construction experience who is developing broader carpentry skills under the direction of field leadership. Work hours: typically M-F: 8-4:30
