Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead – Data Platform & Services Engineering with strong expertise in Azure Data Engineering, backend services, APIs, analytics, and cloud architecture. The role involves designing, building, modernizing, and operating enterprise-scale data platforms and services on Microsoft Azure.
Key Technical Requirements:
Data Engineering
- Azure Databricks, Spark/PySpark
- Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory
- ADLS Gen2, Delta Lake, Lakehouse/Medallion Architecture
- SQL Server / Azure SQL
- Cosmos DB and Kusto / Azure Data Explorer
- ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data modeling
- Data quality, reconciliation, and governance
Backend & Services
- C#, .NET / ASP.NET Core
- REST APIs and Microservices
- Azure Functions
- Event Hubs and Service Bus
- Entity Framework Core
- Authentication & Authorization
Cloud & DevOps
- Microsoft Azure
- Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD
- Azure Monitor and Application Insights
- Azure Key Vault
- Docker / Kubernetes
Good to Have:
- AI/ML or AI-enabled analytics experience
- React/Angular and TypeScript
- GraphQL
- Power BI
- Infrastructure as Code
- SRE / Production Support experience
The ideal candidate should be comfortable owning solutions across data ingestion → data processing → lakehouse/analytics → APIs & services → monitoring → production operations.
