V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Project Portfolio Analyst for our premier client in Chicago, IL.

Education and Experience:

• 7 years’ direct work experience in an IT project management apacity, including all aspects of process
• Development and execution. 10 years’ direct experience in
• software development and supervision.
• Master's Degree in one of Computer Science, Information
• Systems or Business Administration preferred.
• PMI Certification is preferred
• Experience in developing and deploying projects best
• practices, policies, procedures, and processes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »

• Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project Server, preferred

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Proactively manage changes in. project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team erect and manage project development from beginning to
• end.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
• Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to
• the success of the project.
• Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
• Strong familiarity with financial software or project
