Overmyer Architects was established in 1996 with a focus on custom residential design. The firm has designed over 600 projects spanning numerous styles and contexts in D.C., Virginia, Maryland, New Hampshire, New York, and Florida. The work is grounded in traditional design and historic preservation, and that also informs numerous contemporary designs. Services include site evaluation, project analysis, programming, historic review process and presentation, schematic design, landscape design, interior design, construction documents, bidding, contract negotiation, and construction administration. Overmyer Architects enjoys a collaborative relationship with accomplished construction, landscape, engineering, and interior design professionals. Role Description
Small architecture firm specializing in high-end residential design seeks a full-time associate with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Responsibilities include drawing production and project management (including coordination with clients, consultants, regulatory agencies and contractors) throughout all phases of design and construction.

Qualifications
─ Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, or Master in Architecture is required from a NAAB-accredited program.
─ Knowledge of the design process, and ability to meet project goals and prepare deliverables
─ Precision and attention to detail in daily work
─ Interest pursing excellence in residential design
─ Proficiency in 2D CAD is required, Microstation preferred
─ Proficiency in 2D & 3D presentation renderings is preferred (Photoshop, InDesign, Sketch Up, etc.)
─ Skills in professional communication and project organization
─ An enthusiastic attitude and the desire to continue to improve one’s knowledge and skills.
─ Must be authorized to work in the United States
