- Develop and review engineered lift plans in collaboration with experienced team members.
- Evaluate the capacity of supporting surfaces, foundations, and temporary works.
- Review crane configurations and verify lifting capacities using manufacturer load charts and technical data.
- Prepare clear calculations, sketches, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Learn and apply relevant ASME and ANSI standards, OSHA requirements, and project specifications.
- Sign and seal engineering documents as required, following internal review, within your competence and licensure, for work prepared by you or under your responsible charge.
- Provide technical support to operations, sales, and project management teams.
- Participate in site visits, pre-lift meetings, and safety planning discussions.
- Maintain organized engineering records and manage multiple project priorities and deadlines.
What You'll Bring
- A current Professional Engineer (PE) license and a background in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- Strong fundamentals in statics, strength of materials, and structural analysis.
- Sound analytical judgment, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- A willingness to learn and work collaboratively with field and office personnel.
Experience in construction, industrial operations, or heavy equipment environments is welcome. Familiarity with construction drawings, technical specifications, and AutoCAD or similar design software is preferred.
Work Environment
