As we expand our production capabilities, we are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Large Format amp; Roll Label Operator to join our tight-knit team and grow along with us.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced print operator to manage our digital inkjet production. Your primary focus will be operating our Roland large format inkjet printer/cutter, handling setup, RIP software workflow, and post-print finishing. Additionally, we utilize a SnapPress digital inkjet roll label machine for handling labels on rolls. While we will train the right candidate on this specific label press, prior experience or knowledge of the roll label industry is a huge plus.Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation:

Setup, calibrate, and operate Roland large format inkjet printers and the SnapPress digital roll label press.File Preparation: Review and send print-ready files through RIP software, ensuring correct sizing, nesting, and color management profiles.Finishing Operations: Perform weeding, taping, laminating, trimming, and rolling of finished large format products and labels.Quality Control: Actively monitor print runs to ensure consistent color accuracy, alignment, clarity, and defect-free output.Maintenance: Perform routine daily and weekly maintenance on inkjet printheads, capping stations, and mechanical components to maximize uptime.Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and store heavy media rolls (vinyl, banner material, label stock).

Qualifications; Requirements Experience:

Proven experience operating professional digital large format inkjet machines (Roland experience highly preferred).Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with RIP software workflows and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred. Experience in the roll label production industry is a strong plus.Physical Requirements: Must be able to comfortably and safely lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs (media rolls, equipment parts).Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation to ensure punctual and consistent attendance.Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a self-starter mindset suited for a fast-paced, growing shop environment.
