Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse

PICU RN — Travel Contract | $2,880/week | Chicago Suburbs

Pediatric ICU nurses — we're hiring for a 13-week travel contract on a

float pool covering two campuses in the Chicago area (Oak Lawn & Park Ridge).

THE PACKAGE

• Weekly Gross: $2,880

• Blended Rate: $80/hr

• W2 Rate: $17/hr

• Weekly Stipend: $2,268

• 36 hrs/week — 12-hour NIGHTS (7p–7a)

• 13-week contract

WHAT YOU NEED

• 2+ years PICU RN experience

• Active Illinois RN license

• BLS + PALS

• NRP highly preferred

• Prior travel experience NOT required — first-timers welcome

MUST be willing to float between BOTH campuses (Oak Lawn and Park Ridge)

and across PICU/PCICU, NICU, and General Pediatrics.

THE UNIT

• 19–23 beds, average census 15–18 patients/day

• RN ratio 2:1

• Patient types: respiratory, congenital heart disease,

hematology/oncology, post-op, trauma

• Teamwork-first culture

SUPPORT YOU'LL HAVE

• CNA support for room prep, high-touch cleaning, patient care

• Charge Nurse, Resource Nurse, Receptionist

• Phlebotomy in-house, IV Team, Tele Tech

• 24/7: RT, Hospitalist, Intensivist

TECH & DETAILS

• EMR + Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Med Sonic Monitors

• Orientation: NEO + 2 days departmental in PICU

• Weekend rotation: every other weekend

• Holidays: as needed by unit

• No on-call
