A hugely successful Global leading engineering company located in Arizona (USA) specializing in the industries of Satellite and Space are now hiring a brand-new Senior Test Engineer.
Salary on offer:
The annual salary on offer for the successful Senior Test Engineer is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum.
Summary of the Test Engineering Role:
The successful Senior Test Engineer will take responsibility for product reliability and certification testing, including but not limited to product regulatory requirements such as EMC, Homologation and Safety.
Senior Test Engineer Key Skills:
- 5-10 years of related test engineer experience at National Recognized Test Lab or third party test organization (UL or TUV)
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting radiated and conducted emissions, immunity, mechanical design defect, and component degradation issues
- Experience with lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, ESD gun, RF Power Amplifiers, Transient and Surge Generators, Signal Generators, Data Loggers, Power Analyzers, Hipot, Ethernet Traffic Generators, and other EMC and Safety test equipment
- Experience with antennas including biconical, log-periodic and horn
- Experience with standards such as MIL-STD-461G, IEC 60068, IEC 62368-1, DO-160, IEC 55032/24, FCC Part 15, IEC 60950-1, IEC 62368-1, and MIL-STD-822
- Industry experience – Satellite, Space, Wireless technologies, SATCOM, Aerospace, Defence
