Tax Manager | Kings Park, NY (Long Island) | $150,000 to $200,000 Base + Bonus

The Role

The firm is adding a Tax Manager to help lead a growing book of business. You’ll review returns, manage client relationships, mentor staff, and work closely with the partners on tax planning and advisory engagements.

What You’ll Do

• Review individual, partnership, S corp, C corp, trust, and estate returns
• Lead tax planning and projections for business owners and high net worth clients
• Serve as a main point of contact for a portfolio of clients throughout the year, not only at filing time
• Mentor, train, and review the work of Seniors and Staff
• Work on advisory projects such as entity structuring, real estate transactions (including like kind exchanges), succession planning, and retirement and estate planning
• Handle tax notices and correspondence with taxing authorities

• Medical and dental practices and other professional service firms
• Construction, distribution, retail, and hospitality businesses
• High net worth individuals and families

What They’re Looking For

• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience, with time spent reviewing returns
• CPA strongly preferred
• Strong experience with both business and individual returns
• Comfortable leading client relationships and developing staff
• Tech savvy, detail oriented, and personable
