Portfolio Manager - Multifamily (East End Pittsburgh)

We’re hiring an Apartment Portfolio Manager in Pittsburgh’s East End 🏢

Lobos Management has a 50-year history of success and is still growing. We’re looking for a hands-on operator to take full ownership of our 250–300-unit market-rate apartment portfolio across Highland Park, Friendship, Shadyside, Bloomfield, Lawrenceville, and the Strip District.

This is a working manager role, not a desk job. You’ll lead our leasing and maintenance teams, show and lease units alongside your agents, and be the person who makes the call when something breaks at 2 a.m. (about one after-hours call a month).

What you’ll own:

✅ Occupancy, renewals, pricing, and the full leasing funnel

✅ Maintenance operations, turns, preventive maintenance, and capital projects

✅ After-hours emergency triage and dispatch

✅ Hiring, training, and coaching leasing and maintenance staff

✅ Collections, budgets, and weekly reporting to ownership

✅ Vendor recruiting and management

What we’re looking for:

🔹 5+ years in market-rate multifamily, with 2+ years leading multiple sites or site teams

🔹 Experience supervising both leasing AND maintenance staff

🔹 Real numbers to back it up: occupancy gained, turn days cut, delinquency reduced, NOI improved

🔹 Strong grasp of building systems, so you can evaluate a bid and know if a repair was done right

🔹 Experience with platforms like AppFolio, Yardi, Rent Manager, Buildium, Entrata, or ResMan

🔹 Availability for weekend leasing (with a weekday off) and on-call rotation

Bonus points for experience with historic buildings, scattered-site portfolios, value-add renovations, and the East End vendor base.

What success looks like: within 90 days, measurable occupancy gains, faster standardized turns, and delinquency trending down. Within 6 months, a team that performs to standard without daily supervision and real NOI growth.
