My client, an AmLaw 200 firm, wants a BD Senior Specialist for three practice groups: Labor & Employment, Patent and Trademark. You’ll work directly with practice leaders and partners on client development and new business. The role was built with a career path in mind.
What you’ll do:
- Design and adjust BD plans and budgets for the groups and individual attorneys
- Produce RFP responses, pitch materials and presentations
- Find new opportunities using litigation tracking tools, GenAI and research
- Research targets, competitors and industry trends, and draft outreach strategies
- Track and report results on pitches, proposals and referrals
- Run Chambers and Legal 500 submissions and support the group’s blog, events and webinars
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5–6 years of BD or marketing at a law firm or other professional services firm
- L&E or IP practice support experience preferred
- Strong project management, writing and CRM skills
