As a MMIC Design Engineer, you will be joining a dedicated team of visionaries to innovate and deliver the next generation of high frequency, state of the art components that enable breakthrough performance in our instruments. We foster a collaborative engineering environment which emphasizes teamwork, enthusiasm, and excellence in creating high-performance solutions.

Along with the High Frequency Technology Center (HFTC), HFTC is part of our Advanced Technology Labs, the core R&D organization that enables Centers of Excellence and other business groups to provide RF, microwave, mmWave, 5G and 6G solutions to customers in various industries, including AI infrastructure, communications, aerospace & defense, automotive & energy, and semiconductor industries.

As a key contributor in a diverse team, you will design, layout, and validate high-performance millimeter-wave ICs powering our next generation instruments. Responsibilities include working closely with internal customers to understand and define critical performance parameters, matching requirements to advanced semiconductor processes, and executing, characterizing, and documenting the final design. Designers will be using industry leading tools, supported by a world class measurement lab, comprehensive device modeling, and collaborating with a broad, experienced engineering team.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields, a M.S., or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or closely related field, with thesis work and/or relevant industry experience in mm-wave IC design would be great as well.

Responsibilities: The IC Product Engineering group acts as a vital link between the design, process, and test teams, and the product line and customers. We ensure that high-quality ICs are delivered to our customers and that our product lines remain operational and efficient.

Our team is expanding and we’re looking for a self‑driven and proactive engineer who takes strong ownership of their work and consistently drives projects to completion. The ideal candidate communicates clearly and effectively, partners well with customers, operations, and cross‑functional engineering teams, and is comfortable facilitating technical discussions among diverse stakeholders. This role requires sound judgment, strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
