Position Overview

We are seeking a Procurement Systems Consultant to serve as the key liaison between internal business stakeholders and external technology partners. This role requires a strong understanding of the procurement lifecycle, third-party risk management (TPRM), and procurement-related systems. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and system functionality, helping optimize procurement processes, support system enhancements, and ensure effective platform administration.

This is not a traditional Project Manager or technical development role. We are looking for a procurement-focused professional who understands procurement operations, supplier risk management, and enterprise procurement technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a functional subject matter expert (SME) for procurement and vendor management systems.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into system and process recommendations.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business users and external vendors or implementation partners.
• Support and administer procurement, contingent workforce, and third-party risk management platforms.
• Coordinate system enhancements, testing, configuration updates, and change management activities.
• Oversee data quality, reporting accuracy, and compliance controls across procurement systems.
• Support end-to-end procurement and supplier lifecycle processes.
• Assist with contingent workforce processes, including onboarding, extensions, transfers, and offboarding.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and operational efficiencies.
• Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor system performance and help drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Procurement, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2-5 years of procurement consulting, procurement operations, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of the complete procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, vendor onboarding, contracting, purchasing, and supplier management.
• Experience working with Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) processes and platforms.
• Experience serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and external vendors or technology partners.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Vendor Management Systems (VMS) such as Beeline, Fieldglass, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with TPRM and procurement platforms such as Aravo, Ariba, Zip, or comparable systems.
• Experience acting as a system administrator within procurement, VMS, or TPRM platforms.
• Exposure to project coordination, business process improvement, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Knowledge of system integrations, data governance, and procurement technology eco
