Quality Assurance Specialist - CSA

ROSS Consultancy USA is hiring Quality Managers and QA/QC Inspectors with a civil, structural, and architectural background for a high-profile data center project in Phoenix.

We’re open to both levels. Managers will run the quality program for the CSA scope. Inspectors will be out on the work every day, making sure it goes in right before it gets covered up.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead or support QA/QC across the CSA scope, from earthwork, underground utilities, and duct banks through the structure, enclosure, and finishes
• Inspect rebar, formwork, embeds, and anchor bolts before pours, and verify concrete placement, testing, and slab flatness
• Check structural steel erection, bolting, and welding against the drawings and specs
• Inspect roofing, waterproofing, building envelope, fireproofing, and firestopping
• Build and maintain QC plans, ITPs, and inspection checklists
• Coordinate special inspectors and third-party testing labs, and stay on top of their reports
• Run QC meetings, raise NCRs, track quality KPIs, and see issues through to close
• Review design for constructability and quality before work starts
• Work with MEP and commissioning teams so areas are ready for the trades that follow, then support final inspections and turnover

What we’re looking for

• QA/QC experience on the CSA side of large construction projects. Inspectors will have 3+ years, and managers will have led quality on a major site
• Data center experience is ideal (hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise), but proven work on other mission critical projects is welcome
• General contractor experience strongly preferred
• A solid grasp of ITPs, NCR management, and special inspection requirements
• Working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, or Autodesk Construction Cloud, and familiarity with ISO 9001
• A degree in civil or structural engineering or construction management, or an equivalent trade background
• ICC special inspector, ACI, or AWS CWI certifications are a plus
• Confident enough to hold the line with subcontractors while keeping the owner’s trust
