Responsibilities:

• Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Advocate for clients in court proceedings, hearings, mediations, and trials
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other litigation documents
• Develop case strategy and evaluate claims throughout the litigation process
• Take and defend depositions and participate in discovery
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients during alternative dispute resolution proceedings
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to effectively manage caseloads
• Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and guidance

Requirements:

• Active Maryland or Virginia Bar admission
• Litigation experience
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively within a team environment
• Trial experience, courtroom appearances, and deposition experience are highly valued
